What is the core of the credit transfer programme?

  Generally, in the North American higher education system, academic institutions that accept transfer credits evaluate and identify the courses and credits that students plan to transfer to, and thus give credits for accepted courses.

  The number of credits accepted is assessed by the transferred academic institution based on the academic level of the transferred school's courses, and the assessment result is approved based on the academic level of the courses in both schools.

  If the two schools set up transfer credit agreements in majors and courses, it means that the two schools are at the same academic level in the majors and courses involved in the agreement.

  The general courses or some major courses learned in Chinese universities can be 100% transferred to the cooperative schools. Of course, there are certain requirements for the course results, and the GPA must reach a certain number.

  With or without a transfer agreement, transfer credits enable students studying at higher education institutions in North America to have a wider range of options for further study at their preferred universities and majors. Students have more autonomy in their choices.
